Math-Amazing Neighborhoods is partnering with the National Tutors Association to offer free tutor training and certification to provide at-risk students with supplemental education, particularly in the area of mathematics.

The certification, which is valued at $300, includes the following:

60 hours of training

Training materials

An in-facility tutoring internship/volunteer opportunities*

Background check, which is necessary to serve in schools and community centers

Membership in the National Tutors Association

Recognition by Math-Amazing Neighborhoods

Leads for clients

Tutors must serve in the Math-Amazing Neighborhoods Tutor Corps to prepare students for upcoming math competitions around Atlanta. Training and certification will take place this spring. Interested tutors must send a resume to kwanzafisher@gmail.com to be considered.
