SOUTH FULTON, GA.-Home Rule News and the South Fulton Business Coalition are collaborating to host a meet and greet regarding the activities of local policymakers.
The organizations are committed to keeping the public informed of what is going on with local elected officials in the South Fulton and Southwest Atlanta community. On Wednesday, Feb. 20, the HRN Happy Hour Community Discussion takes place at Landon’s Restaurant and Bar on Cascade Road. The event lasts from 6pm to 8pm.
The state officials who represent the area have all been invited along with various Fulton County Commissioners. This is also a networking opportunity so business attendees are asked to bring their business cards and marketing materials.
“With the coverage focus of HRN and mission statement of SFBC, we want to be proactive rather than reactive,” Dominique Huff, Founder/CEO of the Tenth Amendment Media Group and Executive Director for the South Fulton Business Coalition said. “The legislators will have an opportunity to tell us about their legislative process thus far, community and business members will have the chance to ask questions and state their opinions.” HRN is a subsidiary of the Tenth Amendment Media Group.
Admission and parking is free. The Happy Hour lasts from 6pm to 8pm. Landon’s is located at 3752 Cascade Road next to Walgreen’s. It is accessible via MARTA routes 71 (Cascade) and 165 (Fairburn Road). Attendees are requested to support the establishment by purchasing items from the Happy Hour menu.
