Athletes On The Rise will host a free summer camp on Saturday, May 5, for girls ages 7-18.
The event is being held at English Park, 505 Bolton Road, in Atlanta.
The Cascade-based organization is also currently accepting applications for its four-week summer camp that begins in June.
"Girls ages 7-18 are encouraged to come out to jump rope, race, hula hoop, dance, exercise, talk about nutrition and being more healthy, and much more," said Shannon Florence, program director. "Wear athletic gear and tennis shoes!"
