Registration for Atlanta Public Schools Pre-Kindergarten classes begins this week.

Parents have three opportunities to register children for the Pre-K lottery including two sessions at Kennedy Middle School on Saturday, June 9, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Wednesday June 13, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

A lottery drawing will be held June 20 to fill classes across the district. Parents will be notified by mail.

To register a child, parents will need to bring proof of residence (Deed, Lease or Rental Agreement, or Notarized Affidavit along with a current Utility Bill) and the child’s birth certificate and social security card.

About 33 APS schools will house an estimated 41 Pre-K classes this school year.
