It looks to be another long, hot summer in Atlanta this year but you can be proactive in keeping your community safe and crime-free. Enroll in the Citizen's Police Academy and take an active approach to reducing crime in your neighborhood. Contact Lt. To find out how you can reduce crime in your area, including burglaries, call Atlanta Police Major Dalton with the Community Services Division @ 404.546.5650. Talk to your zone commander's office for more information about your area. Zone 1, the area North of I-20 from Northside Drive west to the Cascade area, is led by Major Timothy Quiller. My neighbors and I have started a neighborhood watch group.
