Early Voting Starts NOW! Do Not Wait. Skip the Lines and Go Now

Today is the first day that you can vote in the 2012 Presidential Election for Fulton County residents.

The Polls are open in Georgia, and Cascade residents are urged to take advantage of the shorter lines the next two weeks and cast their vote for their choice of President.  Early Voting in Fulton County will continue through Friday, November 2, 2012.

Voters can cast their ballots at one of the six locations:
-Adamsville Recreational Center (3201 Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., SW, Atlanta, GA 30311)
-Buckhead Library (269 Buckhead Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30305)
-Fulton County Government Center (130 Peachtree Street, SW, Suite 2186, Atlanta, GA 30303)
-North Fulton Service Center (7741 Roswell Road, Suite 232, Sandy Springs 30350)
-Ocee Library (5090 Abbotts Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA 30005)
-South Fulton Service Center (5600 Stonewall Tell Road, Room 108, College Park, GA 30349)

Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Saturday Voting will be offered at all six locations on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Registered voters can request an absentee ballot by mail by filling out an absentee ballot application and e-mailing it to Elections.Absentee@fultoncountyga.gov or faxing it to the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections (404-730-8839 or 404-730-7024). The application is available at www.fultonelections.com.

The deadline to request an absentee ballot for the November 6, 2012 General Election is Friday, November 2, 2012.  Completed absentee ballots must be received by the Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at one of three County facilities: the Fulton County Government Center, the North Fulton Service Center or the South Fulton Service Center (addresses listed above).

Here's the 2:45 p.m. update on Early Voting so far on Monday, courtesy of Fulton County:

Adamsville Recreation Center: 698 ballots cast
South Service Center: 743
Buckhead Library: 418
Government Center: 526
North Service Center: 469
Ocee Library: 317
South Service Center: 743
Total Number of Voters: 3,171

Looks like the Adamsville poling place and the polling place in College Park (South Service) are having great turn-out so far. Let's Keep it Up!!!
