The boys and girls track teams from Mays and Douglass high schools are part of a field of competitors participating this week in the Region 6-AAAA track meets.
The competitions are being held this week at Panthersville Stadium in south DeKalb.
The Mays girls track team recently won the city championship and the boys team finished third.
