A popular real estate trend today involves families pooling human and financial resources by combining households. Doing so is bringing back one of the most prominent living situations from years gone by.

Many families find themselves bringing aging parents into their homes while raising school age children. Because of the differences in lifestyle needs, spacious homes are paramount for family peace and happiness.

Today’s trend, said to be due to the economic environment and longer life cycles, is prominent  among all income levels. This week’s featured homes are examples of homes suited for multigenerational living at varying budgets.

Wow this house was over a million 5 years ago. My fav in our sub-division Guilford Forest reminds me of the house in the movie Scarface.
