This case was brought to the attention of many due to the hard work of CourtWatch and NPU-T, who both attempted to keep the community informed and educated regarding the horrific murder.

Boone, was caught on surveillance camera robbing and stabbing Baik Sung multiple times at Sung's store, Southern Supermarket located on West View Drive in Southwest Atlanta.

On Monday, the AJC reported that Sung's son was in court but walked out when the defendant began to read a "tearful apology statement."

According to the AJC, the Defense's main argument was that Mr. Boone was under a drug induced hallucination.
