I am sharing the perspective of Mr. Jim Rendovian, former DeKalb County School Board member here, since this is the only education related story I could find on Patch. Mr. Rendovian points out the sheer size of the DeKalb County School District at 100,000 kids is over three times larger than optimal of about 30,000 students.
This is the not the first time I have heard this, and Mr. Rendovian explains the ramifications of super-sized Districts.
