Thursday afternoon on May 17th, Spelman College held a seminar panel titled, How Social Media Can Shape Your Leadership Brand led by CNN's Roland Martin. The 1 hour panel was part of the 2 day Women of Color Conference that Spelman holds every year as an "inter-generational leadership conference for women of color"

On the social media panel was:

  • James Andrews, Founder of Social People Media
  • Patricia Cesaire, Director of Social Media, Black Enterprise
  • Ananda Leeke, Founder of Digital Sisterhood Network

During the discussion Roland Martin spoke of the ease of setting up your social media accounts and no need to be that person, "wishing and wondering what if you had a certain number of followers."  "It is as simple as attaching your twitter account and other social media accounts to your Facebook page and vice versa," he said.
