Reader's Choice: Cascade's Best Frozen Treats

This week's Reader's Choice asks you to pick the best place to buy Ice Cream or Frozen Yogurt.

The dog days of summer are quickly approaching, and one of our favorite items to consume on a hot day is a scoop of ice cream or your favorite frozen treat.

So this week's Reader's Choice asks Cascade readers to choose best place to purchase a frozen treat.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday. Ties will be broken by whichever business has the most positive comments in the section below. We will announce the winner at noon Friday.

NOTE: Some of the locations listed are in surrounding Cascade areas because while compiling this list of locations for the story, I noticed that there are no ice cream parlors nor frozen yogurt shops in Cascade and very little in the greater SW Atlanta area. Hint, Hint...Entrepreneurs are you listening? Maybe this is what one of our vacant lots should be used for.

West Cobb Patch, South Cobb Patch and Smryna-Vinings Patch also are asking people to choose their yogurt destinations, so be sure to vote on your nearby favorites.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

Bruster's in Camp Creek Marketplace is the closest ice cream shop. My vote is for this location. The ice cream is awesome, and the owner is very friendly.

My vote is for Soul Veg. No dairy and they use natural cane sugar. Bruster's on Fairburn Rd. is no longer there : (
