Southwest Atlanta Friend of the Week: Kwabena Nkromo

Kwabena is a community leader and soon may be a candidate for politics.

Today we are proud to announce Kwabena Nkromo as our Friend of the Week. He is a founding partner of the Atlanta Metro Food & Farm Network, an educator, and former NPU-T Chairperson.

Kwabena has always been a supporter of Cascade Patch and to that we are extremely thankful.

He is currently a Westview resident and a leader of the Westview Community Organization.  In a we published about Mr. Nkromo we announced that he intends to run for District 57 seat against Rashad Taylor and Pat Gardner as a Green Party candidate.

He needs 1500 signatures by August to be able to have his name on the ballot, and I support his effort.  Though I am a Democrat, I strongly believe the 2 party political system needs to be thoroughly challenged.  Maybe Mr. Nkromo will add this to the long list of community duties he is already involved with...
