Hosts will be Atlanta Public Schools, and the SW & NW Atlanta Parents & Partners for Schools.
Free invitation to the APS Strategic Planning for student success meeting hosted by SW and NW Atlanta parents. An RSVP is required.
LSC, PTA, other Parent & Community Leaders are invited to sit down with Atlanta Public Schools Chief Strategist Dr. Alexis Kirijan to understand the recently developed & Board approved APS 5 year Strategic Plan. (Superintendent has been invited to give comments)
- Learn how each school's Continuous Improvement Plan (due now) will align with APS' Strategic Plan
- Learn how Local School Council members can help their school with academic achievement
- Discuss with Board members how parents & community can help support the plan
- Understand the process from planning to implementation
