SW Atlanta's Willie Watkins Funeral Home to Handle Usher's Stepson's Arrangements
Willie Watkins has been named as the funeral home to handle the remains of Usher's stepson.
The AJC has reported that Kile Glover, Usher’s stepson has died. Kile was 11 years-old and the son of Tameka Foster. He died Saturday morning, two weeks after a Lake Lanier boating accident left the child critically injured.
The Willie Watkins Funeral Home, which is a long-time business of the historic West End, will be in charge of the funeral. Willie Watkins was established in 1982 and is the choice of families and celebrities alike. There has been no details given to the public about the upcoming funeral and arrangements.
Kile, whose father is Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover, suffered a major brain injury on July 6 after a man on a personal watercraft ran over him and a 15-year-old girl while they were being towed on an inner tube behind a pontoon boat, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said.
Kile was unresponsive when pulled from the lake following the midafternoon crash. He and the teenager were flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
A the 11-year-old died of heart failure, according to Channel 2 Action News.
Condolences came via Facebook and Twitter on Saturday evening. DJ Frank Ski of V-103 posted: “CRYING, I Will Miss You Kile! … Sometimes Life Is So Unfair.” Greg Street tweeted: “Lil RG is an Angel now, Ryan, Tameka, Usher & the whole Glover Family we gotta make him proud!”
Tweets were also sent by singer Justin Bieber, Toni Braxton, Russell Simmons, Eric Benet, and many others.
The investigation of the incident that led to this young boys death continues.

To be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. The lord makes no mistakes and needed another precious angel by the name of kyle. My heart goes out to his mother tameka and family and well as his father Mr. Glover and family.

To Mr. Glover, Tameka and Usher, my heart goes out to this entire family for the loss of your love one. As a mother and grandmother, I can't begin to imagine what it is like to loose a child. Every thought of it sends chills through me because I know the bond that this child had with his family. Outside of GOD there is nothing greater than a mother's love. I know for a fact though that GOD will keep you and supply you with the strength to endure. He puts no more on us than we can bare. My heart felt prayer goes out to you and your family.

To the Glover & Raymond family, from a mother that lost her only son a few years ago, don't worry about being strong take your time, grieve for your baby for God will strengthen you, many can't and won't understand a mother's grief ,it's like no other.
The sting of grief is hard however the feelings when you lose child is really unexplainable ,God knows and he will heal you and your family , it's a process and he's the only one that can touch and comfort that ache, that emptiness we feel now .You're not alone, may God bless you and walk beside you as you grieve forward..Gloria
