Teen Charged In Sandtown Teacher's Death
Driver charged with vehicular homicide.
The teenage driver who was involved in a car crash last month that killed a Sandtown Middle School teacher has been charged with vehicular homicide.
The AJC is reporting that the 16-year-old female was charged earlier this week.
Shireen Haynes, 40, of College Park, was killed on March 20 when her vehicle was pushed into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer, according to Fulton County police. The teenage driver of the other vehicle was initially charged with failure to maintain lanes and driving on a restricted license and suspended registration, according to the AJC.
