The Paralympics are Underway Today - Cheer on Local Adamsville Rec. Gold Medal Winner

Curtis Lovejoy is in London to compete in his 5th Paralympic Games

Curtis Lovejoy has left his training site at the Adamsville Recreation Center and is now in London, England for his 5th Paralympic Games.

Curtis Lovejoy is a star swimmer and will be back in the pool competing in the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle and 50m backstroke.

Curtis is a native of Atlanta and a former Morris Brown student.  He holds a number of World Records and could be back for more this year.

Mr. Lovejoy became paralyzed from the waist down, by a car accident in 1986.

Here are the stories we have done on Curtis in the past and look forward to celebrating with him when he comes home.  Go Curtis!
