The Barbara Lewis King Scholarship Foundation hosts a star-studded event to raise funds for student scholarships. The scholarship recipients are selected based on criteria and characteristics demonstrated by Bishop Dr. Barbara Lewis King - Founder Minister/World Spiritual Leader of Hillside International Truth Center in Southwest Atlanta;

"An Evening with the Dancing Stars of Atlanta," on July 28, 2012 at 6:00 p.m will be held at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center.

Xernona Clayton (Trumpet Awards) will perform Mistress of Ceremony duties for invited guests  Dr. Maya Angelou, Dr. Michael Beckwith, Congressman John Lewis, Rev. Della Reese-Lett, Susan Taylor, Evander Holyfield and a host of local and international dignitaries.
Acclaimed Producer/Actress, Jasmine Guy will be judging the friendly competition styled after the popular TV show. Trumpeteer, Joey Sommerville will perform special selections from his soon-to-be-released album, "The Get Down Club." Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed and others will be attendance.
