Top 3 Labor Day Events in Metro Atlanta

Labor Day Weekend is upon us, and luckily you will have a few days off from work to enjoy the fruits of your labor and your family.

This weekend is historically one of the biggest travel days in the year, so whether you are staying in town or leaving town there will thousands of people trying to go the same area you are going.  For those of us that are staying in Atlanta, here are my randomly selected top 3 events happening this weekend in Atlanta.

1. ONE MusicFest in its 3rd annual installment, this music festival is taking place at The Masquerade off of North Avenue.  There is a whole line-up of artists to perform including Santogold, Big Krit, Marsha Ambrosius, Doug E. Fresh and more.  ONE MusicFest will be filled with fantastic performances from local and national acts, great food from a variety of Food Trucks, and more.
2. Grace Atlanta Caribbean Jerk Festival and Family Fun Day in its 7th year.  This festival gives residents of Metro Atlanta the opportunity to experience the best in Caribbean culture and cuisine.  It is held on Sunday September 2, 2012 at the spacious Panthersville Stadium located 2817 Clifton Springs Road in Decatur, Georgia from 12 noon to 10 pm.
3. on Saturday, September 1st from noon until 11pm featuring live music, beer stations and something for the entire family. National recording artists Klymxx and Noel Gourdin are among performers.  The Riverdale Town Center located at 7200 Church Street, Riverdale, GA . Rain or Shine
