I glad those apartments came down, They have BEEN eye sores for years. You should have turned your camera to the apartments to the left which are also in a bad shape, as well as the homes to the right of the apartments. Then you got those Dixie Hills apartment on Verbena St. That mess need to come as well. I bet if those apartments was in Buckhead, The Vining or Cascade they wouldn't have stood that long.
Some neigborhoods really catch Hell.... with old vacant mess just standing around. MLK NEED TO BE CLEANED UP AS WELL AS SIMPSON & BANKHEAD. IT'S SO SAD THAT THESE BLACK AREA ARE FULL OF OLD APARTMENT NASTY STORES & HANG OUTS. WE WOULD LIKE BETTER STORES AND EATARYS JUST LIKE CASCADE.
