Stop Starving Yourself! (It's making you fat.)
If you are trying to lose body fat, your biggest enemy is hunger. It seems counterproductive to eat to lose weight, but eating the right foods will rev up your metabolism and actually help you lose more. Starvation diets slow your metabolism and weaken your will power to resist food temptations. Both will increase your waistline.
In order to keep your insulin levels stable throughout the day, start by eating within one hour of waking up and then every 3-4 hours thereafter. You don't need any special diet to get on the right track. Start with the following simple rules:
* Stop eating fried foods.
* Stop drinking soda and fruit juice.
* Eat a protein (meat, seafood, nuts, etc.) and a vegetable or fruit with every meal.
* Drink 64oz of water before you drink anything else.
