Have you given up?

Summertime is upon us and we are half-way through the year. Where are you with your New Year's Resolutions? If you're like most, June not only signals that it's beach time, but also that you may not have reached your New Year's fitness goals. By now, the luster of "I'm REALLY going to do it this time!" has worn off and old habits have made their way back in. If this sounds like you, here are a few tips to get back on track:

Assess your weaknesses

Are there foods in the house that you fall prey to all the time? Have you failed to make a REAL commitment to achieving your goals? Are you letting minor things serve as excuses for not working out?  Figure out what is holding you back and tackle it head on!

Get back on track RIGHT NOW

You can turn things around immediately by:

1. Making a better choice for your next meal

2. Deciding to go for a jog this evening

3. Inviting a friend or family member to join you

4. Start small - 5 minutes of physical activity is better than none

It is NEVER too late to change directions.

Get some help

If you've tried to go at it alone, you may need some help creating realistic goals and a plan to reach them. Seek out a trained professional to take the guess work out and help you make some REAL progress!

Parasites have been an irritating part of life for humans and pets alike for centuries. Blood-sucking pests, such as fleas and ticks, are commonly found on domestic pets in warm climates and can easily spread from your pets to your home, and even to your family, if they are not quickly eliminated. Ridding your yard of pests can be a time-consuming process, but is a vital step to prevent them from sickening your pets and your family. Thanks for sharing information.
