First off, SFG stop being a coward hiding behind that name "South Fulton Guy". You knowRead Moreno thing about me. Where I live and what I stand for and help fight for in South Fulton is very public and you have it all wrong! I lived in Sandtown and went before the School Board to fight to have the Middle School built as I did the High School rebuild! I've served on the PTSA at Westlake and incorporated and led the Touchdown Club for a number of years. I've done quite a bit for the schools in Sandtown. I have a son that graduated and another that graduates next year. That's more than I can say for a lot of "big" talkers and officials who choose to seek an easy solution. Get involved and make things better is what parents should do for their children and all our children. BTW, the Achievement Gap is just as wide for black students going to school in North Fulton. Go read the info for yourself. Stop being a COWARD!!!

Thank you James and Kevin for your voices. I am stuck on how the County plans to fix the red ink if Read MoreSouth Fulton voters do not get a voice in becoming a City or not. By not having that choice we have depleted our reserves in the Special Services District. So we lose out on over $25 million in revenue the City of South Fulton would have received to cover our City Services. A rate hike is the next step if the property values remain sluggish or a cut in City services. If Sandtown or any other residents in South Fulton really wanted to be annexed into a near by City they have had 7 years to do so!!! It is only about the money and local control. We appreciate the debate but we do not have a choice as the Mayor of Atlanta made sure if that. Surpressing our vote and voice is not what I expected from a child if the struggle.
