Domino's Pizza Hiring 400+ Workers in Metro Atlanta

Domino's needs everyone from store managers to customer service reps.

Domino's Pizza franchise Cowabunga Inc. is hiring more than 400 workers in metro Atlanta, including in the Hapeville area. The jobs are part of Domino's expansion, according to a press release, which states: "Domino's is adding numerous stores in Georgia and expanding in the Southeast and needs to staff the locations as soon as possible with store managers, assistant managers, drivers and customer service representatives." According to the release Cowabunga Inc., is the second largest Domino's franchise in the country. Those interested in Domino's positions can fill out an online application.   You know that bursting-at-the-seams rush of excitement you get when you discover a little-known eatery? The kind you can hardly contain to the point where you're texting your friends with still-greasy fingers? We recently received an e-mail in that spirit from a neighbor: An excellent hidden gem found right at our doorstep, Chateau de Saigon, just north of the intersection of Dresden on Buford Hwy (on the left). The restaurant itself is sparsely decorated and sits at the end unit of a small strip mall but the food is excellent, a combination of French and S.E. Asian cuisines. And its affordable. Camp Creek CID Initiative Nets $100 Million in Property Sign-ups

Property owners want to pool efforts for traffic, beautification and safety improvements.

The planned West Community Improvement District, which aims to create more than two-dozen traffic, beautification and saftey improvements along the Camp Creek Parkway corridor inched closer to formation Monday at a sign-up rally at the Marriott Atlanta Airport Gateway Hotel. Property owners representing $100 million in land in the Camp Creek area in College Park, East Point and South Fulton County signed up for the initiative, which is pushing to launch in June. CIDs are funded via a self-imposed tax that member businesses agree to pay. Those funds are deployed to increase the vitality of the CID zone and other goals. In order to be established, at least 75 percent of the value land in the zone and 50 percent of the owners must sign on. …

Camp Creek Corridor Seeks Community Improvement District Status

The goal is to access funding sources to make the Camp Creek corridor a destination hub for shoppers.

Looking to boost customer traffic, improve traffic flow and other other initiatives, a group of businesses along the Camp Creek Parkway corridor are looking to form a Community Improvement District. The initiative, which would be called the Airport West Community Improvement District, aims to fund a number of transportation, safety and beautification projects. Community Improvement Districts, or CIDs, are funded via self-imposed taxes that member businesses agree to pay. Those funds are deployed to increase the vitality of the CID zone and other goals.
