A monthly look at a homeowners' or neighborhood organization in southwest Atlanta or southwest Fulton.
The Annelaine/Bobolink/Benjamin E. Mays Neighborhood Club meets every other month as a way of helping friends and neighbors stay in touch. Members gather to talk about – and agree to do – the small but significant gestures that real folk do to help one another. They live on three streets in the southeast corner of the intersection of I-285 and Benjamin Mays Drive. For more than 40 years, this group of friends has provided flowers to neighbors who’ve lost a loved one. They’ve talked about whether they’re satisfied with city services such as trash collection.
