  host the 4th Annual YouthEmpowerment Parade. We invite you to join in c
 elebrating and preparing for this extraordinary event Saturday February 
 16\, 2013 at 12 Noon\, starting atWashington High School and ending at t
 he Georgia State Capitol then convening at Morris Brown College &amp\; M
 orehouse College.\nReverend A.D. King\, the deceased brother of Dr. Mart
 in Luther King\, was committed to empowering children through education 
 and mentoring.\nThe A. D. King Foundation Inc.\, Non-Profit (IRS 501 (c)
  (3) Organization and&nbsp\; is a non-violent conflict resolution entity
  formed to revolutionize the mind set\,attitude and behavior that promot
 e violence and war with non-violent principles\, methods and direct acti
 ons as the preferred means of resolving conflict resolution throughout t
 he world. The foundation is also committed to youth&nbsp\;empowerment\, 
 education&nbsp\;and holistic development.\nAccording to Dr. Babs Onabanj
 o\, President and Chief Executive Officer of the foundation\, the purpos
 eof the parade is to engage our youth in civic activities\, to express a
 ppreciation of African-American Heritage\, to become more engaged in the
  Civil and Human Rights Movements and to create awareness and opportunit
 ies for youth mentoring and holistic educational development.\nThe parad
 e is organized to empower the youth with the spirit of humanity and to s
 howcase their talents\, culture\, creativity\, pride and to be a part of
  a global community of youth empowerment leaders. The parade is also des
 igned to embrace educational values\, mentoring\, coaching\, and prescri
 ptive intervention methods and practices with the goal of reducing drop-
 out rates in our school systems.\nWe encourage high schools\, middle sch
 ools\, Technical Colleges &amp\; Universities bands to participate. Wash
 ington High and Morris Brown College bands will lead theparade. The para
 de is free to general public. All youth organizations and vendors are in
 vited to participate.\nWe would like to thank our sponsors for their con
