Atlanta’s ‘BEST WORLD MUSIC ACT’ Salutes Men on Father’s Day
The All-Sistah dance, drum and vocal ensemble Giwayen Mata to bring their ‘contagious’ high energy drum and dance to the Southwest Arts Center
This Father’s Day, Atlanta’s All-Female Best World Music Act, GIWAYEN MATA, gives tribute to fathers, sons, brothers, husbands and friends in their stage production of “A SALUTE TO OUR MEN”. Performed with special male guests and choreographed in part by Ayo Love, Artistic Director of Ayodele Drum and Dance, family-friendly audiences can expect the ‘roaring’ Afrikan djembe drums, dance, prose, vocal performance, and ‘contagious’ high energy audience participation!
Tickets for ‘SALUTE’ are $25 in advance by purchasing through PayPal online, or $28 at the door. Special rates are also available for students, children and senior citizens.

More About Southwest Arts Center
The Southwest Arts Center is a neighborhood facility dedicated to bringing art classes, cultural programs and events to the southwest Atlanta community. The center offers classes in visual arts, film making, dance, music and other disciplines.
The center is operated by the Fulton County Arts Council, which manages five similar centers across the metro area.
