Particpants ages 12-14 years old will celebrate the principle Imani - Family, Community and the Common Good, by learning how to complete a family tree and how to collect information about family heritage.

Reservations are required for groups of 10 or more.

This program is free and open to the public.

Formerly the Southwest Regional Library, this library is one of 34 branches in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System. The library houses 157,000 books, videos, CDs, audio-cassettes, periodicals, large-print books and reference materials; a large children's book section; and a 75-seat auditorium. The library is located behind the Southern Friends car wash on Cascade Road near The Home Depot. It is one of 25 branches in the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System slated for renovation or expansion in 2012 and 2013. In addition to the renovations, the system plans to build a new $85-million central library and eight new branch libraries.
