 Road\, Atlanta\, Georgia\, will host an Organ and Tissue Transplantation
 /Donation Symposium on Saturday\, August 11\, 2012\, from 8:30 a.m. to 1
 2:00 p.m.&nbsp\; The symposium\, &ldquo\;Share Life: Each One\, Reach On
 e\,&rdquo\; is jointly sponsored by the Azalea City Chapter of The Links
 \, Incorporated\, and the Health and Wellness Ministry of Cascade.&nbsp\
 ;\nThe event is an effort to raise community awareness about the need fo
 r &ldquo\;gifts of life&rdquo\; through blood\, bone marrow\, organ and 
 tissue donations. &nbsp\;A major goal is to increase the number of Afric
 an Americans participating in donor programs.&nbsp\; Organizers will pre
 sent information about organ/tissue donation and transplantation in a th
 eologically and scientifically sound environment\; engage participants i
 n dialogue that raises awareness of the various types of donation\; and 
 celebrate donors and recipients.\nAmong those who will share testimonial
 s are Siblings Michael and Jerome Russell\, Chief Executive Officer and 
 President of H.J. Russell and Company\, who were organ donor and recipie
 nt.&nbsp\; Rev. Dr. Marvin Moss\, Cascade United Methodist Church Senior
  Pastor\, will provide a theological perspective about organ donations a
 nd transplantations\, and Dr. Roderick Stevenson\, a noted surgeon\, wil
 l provide a medical perspective. &nbsp\;Speakers representing The Americ
 an Red Cross\, LifeLink\, and the National Bone Marrow Donor Program wil
 l provide pertinent information regarding types of donations\, and eligi
 bility.&nbsp\; Dr. Mackie Norris\, Chair of the Health and Wellness Mini
 stry at Cascade and Dr. Annie Gavin\, Chair of the Health and Human Serv
 ices Facet\, Azalea City Chapter of The Links\, are co-chairs of the sym
 posium. &nbsp\;Diann Mustin\, a kidney donor\, serves as honorary chair
