Organized and taught by a cohort of Spanish teachers, the Southwest Atlanta Spanish Immersion Class is an afterschool program located on 4344 Danforth Road Atlanta, Ga 30331 for students in grades 1-8. The program uses a proprietary bilingual education curriculum and encourages students to develop and utilized acquired Spanish skills on a regular basis. Curriculum allows students to gain linguistic proficiency in school subjects such as math, language and creative arts while emphasizing oral expression. Program is on Tuesday and Thursday of every week. Grades 1-8.

Various activities and subjects include:

Bilingual literature, bilingual theater, bilingual film, games and fun in Spanish, Spanish grammar lessons, take home CD's for review, homework assignments, teacher calls for listening comprehension and oral expression practice on non-program days. *Subjects alternate with the days of the week.

Class times are 3:30-4:30 (1-4 grade) and 4:45-5:45 (5-8 grade). Parents mustbe able to provide pick-up and drop off transportation. For more information, please call 678-637-6863. Program begins November 1, 2011.
