Honorees of the 2012 Georgia Veterans Day Parade will include Iraqi Freedom war heroes, active military representatives from different branches of the Armed Forces, leadership from Georgia's Veterans Affairs Department, Veteran service organizations and local politicians and celebrities.
The parade will begin at 11:11am in Downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd, proceed south on Peachtree Street and turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park. The Parade Reviewing Stand will be on Baker Street between the World of Coca Cola and the Georgia Aquarium.
