DESCRIPTION:Parents of rising 9th graders and new students to Westlake ar
 e invited to attend a parent orientation session to help parents become 
 familiar with school policies and better understand how to get&nbsp\;add
 itional support for your child and family. &nbsp\;Parents will meet with
  teachers and administrators in small&nbsp\;group sessions to discuss pr
 ocedures and to participate in a question-and-answer session.\nThe paren
 t orientation sessions will be held on the following dates:\n\nStudent L

 sp\;Wednesday\, August 8\n\nWe will meet in the auditorium for a brief i
 ntroduction and assignment of small groups. &nbsp\;Due to limited&nbsp\;
 space\, we ask that parents attend on the assigned date. &nbsp\;Informat
 ion will be available for your child at the&nbsp\;student orientation on
  August 9 from 8:00am-12:00pm\; therefore\, students are not expected to
  attend the parent orientation&nbsp\;session.
