Shots Fired Man Dead on Arlington Avenue in Oakland City

According to Atlanta Police, a man was shot multiple times on Tuesday evening and died from his wounds in Oakland City.

Officer John Chafee told Cascade Patch that, "on 11-25-2013 around 9:00pm officers responded to 1165 Arlington Avenue  regarding a person shot call. Upon arrival officers found a vehicle that had struck a utility pole. The driver appeared to have been shot multiple times."

The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver came to the location and may have been involved in some type of dispute.  APD investigators say that the shooting remains under investigation and that no arrests have been made as of yet.

The victim was transported to Grady Hospital, where he died from his injuries.
