Atlanta's Largest Haunted Attraction Delivers Halloween Thrills to Midtown

Something sinister is making its way to Midtown. This fall visitors to Atlantic Station will have an opportunity to experienceContainment, a 25,000-square-foot, quarter-mile-long maze of mayhem. The scares begin Oct. 4.

The haunt, which takes visitors along a 1,300-foot trail of terror through several scream-inducing scenes, is the largest of its kind in Atlanta, and it is the only large-scale haunt inside the Perimeter.  If that weren’t enough, Containment even has its own unique back-story:

Pure Evil Cannot Be Contained – Unexplained incidents, disturbing behavior and mysterious disappearances…is there a link between these phenomena and the collection of demonic artifacts that remains quarantined below Atlantic Station?  Come find out, if you dare!

“We didn’t want to create just any haunted house,” said Daniel Easton, director of marketing at Atlantic Station. “Instead we created an entire storyline and the largest haunted attraction in Atlanta. ‘Containment’ is for those who love Halloween and want to have a scary good time.”

Containment’s designers, Atlanta-based edg, conceived and developed a unique experience utilizing repurposed shipping containers to create a customizable – and scalable – scare-fest unlike anything witnessed in the Southeast.

“We have made a living creating unique and memorable experiences, including such cherished Atlanta traditions as the Peach Drop, the Pink Pig and Macy’s Great Tree Lighting,” said Steve Guy, CEO of edg.  “When we decided to create a unique haunt experience for Atlanta, we knew it was a natural fit for Atlantic Station. We’ve had a tremendous amount of fun conceiving and building this haunt in partnership with Atlantic Station, and we can’t wait for guests to experience it!”  k Pig and te Peach Drop, teh nique experienceszing repurposed shippping  inside teh
