Business and Wellness Expo To Attract Hundreds For Workshops, Job Leads, and Networking

ATLANTA – An Atlanta business strategies organization is hosting an expo Saturday for entrepreneurs who want to grow their client base and forge partnerships with other metro area businesses.

The Business Networking Expo will be held from noon to 9 p.m. at 200 Peachtree Street in Northwest Atlanta. The event is being sponsored by Executive Trade Expo, a business industry support network that offers professional services to help entrepreneurs to succeed. More than 500 people are expected for an evening of networking, workshops, and motivational talks.

The expo will help business owners spread the word about their products and services. It will feature a special focus on health and wellness and its importance to the survival of successful businesses. Health and wellness industry leaders and products will be represented in the vendor’s marketplace.

“I feel very strongly about taking good care of yourself and that can be hard to do when you are working long hours and are focused on running a successful business,” said Rafael Escoto, founder of Executive Trade Expo (ETE).  “We are going to have workshops on business, nutrition, wellness and mental health. Wellness is important to
your quality of life and your effectiveness in business. There is direct correlation between feeling good, doing good, and doing well in business.”

The Business Networking Expo will feature a dozen workshops with special guest speakers that include Dr. Vern Morgan, a successful author; Michael Campbell, CEO of Black on Purpose Television; Wanda McCallum, a licensed coach with Awaken Higher Brain Living Center; Adria Robinson, CEO/founder of the National Association of Professional Black Women; and motivational speaker and minister Keicko Hoshino of the Happy Science Temple of Atlanta. More than 60 vendors have reserved booths for the event. Live music will be played and light refreshments will be served.

Admission is free for the first 100 attendees between noon and 1 p.m. Tickets at the door cost $15. Advanced tickets can be purchased for $10 at executivetradeexpo.com.
ETE offers coaching, business plan development, marketing assistance, and other professional services to entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners. ETE analyzes the performance of businesses and recommends processes to maximize effectiveness. ETE is striving to build a collaborative network between metro Atlanta businesses where information is shared and working relationships are developed. The goal of the outreach is to forge partnerships between businesses that can result in collaborations that can increase profitability and bring new jobs to communities.

ETE strives to keep businesses from failing due to common mistakes because small business is the backbone of the national economy. According to the U.S. Small Business Association, there are more than 23 million small businesses in the nation. Those businesses account for 54 percent of sales in the U.S. and 66 percent of new jobs since the 1970s.

ETE’s founder Rafael Escoto is an author and one of the nation’s successful small business owners. He has more than 30 years of experience as an entrepreneur. He worked in the fashion and interior design industry as a CEO who grossed nearly $3 million annually in domestic and international sales. His Washington D.C. firms, Interiors by Rafael, Home Furniture & Design, and In-House International were advertised in leading publications including “Architectural Digest” and the “Washington Post”.

Escoto developed the expo to help entrepreneurs grow their businesses and improve as leaders. “Business leaders must progress in their physical, emotional, and spiritual development,” Escoto said. “When you are influential, you must he an understanding of your purpose in life and remember that it is important to help others if you truly want to be successful.”
