Cascade Residents Serve on "Open Your Purse" Committee

Cascade residents Sharmen Gowens, Lolita B. Jackson and Michelle Falconer are serving on this year’s YWCA of Greater Atlanta’s Open Your Purse Committee.

This year is the 8th annual Open Your Purse event, which raises funds and awareness for the YWCA’s Women in Transition and Supportive Housing program. The event will showcase hundreds of handbags donated by Belk, boutiques and high-profile individuals. Attendees can purchase the handbags and other items during silent and live auctions. Open Your Purse will be held on Tuesday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Georgia Aquarium.
