Connally Nature Park Restoration Brings Community Together

We are so thankful to the 45 volunteers who came out to help restore the stream buffer and clean up Connally Nature Park on Feb. 8, 2014.

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper (CRK) worked in partnership with Trees Atlanta and the city of East Point to organize the effort.

Volunteers spent four hours helping to restore this very important resource, which included picking up tires, unearthing broken toilets, clearing brush, planting new trees and more.

We will be back again later this year to clean up another section. Check www.chattahoochee.org for additional ways to volunteer with CRK.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
