Fulton County’s Fall SPARC Atlanta Clinics Seek to Enhance the Health and Quality of Life for Older Adults
Fulton County’s Fall SPARC (Sickness Prevention Achieved through Regional Collaboration) Atlanta preventive healthcare screenings for older adults begin on Tuesday, September 24.
Citizens who participate in SPARC Atlanta clinics can take advantage of health screenings, nutrition counseling and health education. Since the initiation of SPARC Atlanta in 2006, more 7,300 older adults have visited SPARC Clinics to obtain health screenings as well as obtain information regarding Medicare Assistance, employment assistance, Food Stamp Assistance, nutrition education and dental education.

SPARC Atlanta is administered through a partnership between the Atlanta Regional Commission and the Fulton County Office of Aging.
The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness, area hospitals and several other nonprofit organizations comprise a collaborative group that organizes health screenings and services.
