Fulton County’s Senior Multipurpose Facilities to Host Registration for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program

The Fulton County Housing and Human Services Department’s Office of Aging, in Partnership with the Fulton Atlanta Community Action Authority, is giving seniors 65 years of age or older who are Fulton County residents the opportunity to register for the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP).  Enrollment applications will be accepted at the Office of Aging’s four Senior Multipurpose Facilities beginning Thursday, November 14, 2013 (See the schedule below).

Eligibility criteria and documentation requirements include:

• Fulton County Resident age 65 and older
• Household income is at or below 60% of the state median income level for Georgia
• Applicants must bring current copies of the following documents:  current bill for primary heat source, picture ID, social security card, proof of residence, proof of age, proof of income (award letter, recent bank statement with direct deposit, or pension/retirement statement)
