Hundreds Attend Fulton County Job Fair

The four-hour job fair featured 40+ employers who are ready to hire within the next 90 days

The employment seeker lines were long Wednesday, April 23, 2014, to talk to employers such as Porshe Cars North America, CVS Pharmacy, Aramark, Argosy University, Brenau University and others seeking applicants for positions that will be filled within the next 90 days.  Over 500 adults and young people lined up in hopes of completing applications and obtaining interviews for positions.

Over 40 employers attended the job Fair that was hosted by Fulton County District 6 Commissioner Joan Garner and the Fulton County Office of Workforce Development in the Fulton County Government Center Atrium in downtown Atlanta.  The four-hour job fair was also supported by the Georgia Department of Labor who sent representatives to talk to applicants about their employment and career goals.
