SW Branch Library Exciting Children Events!
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Poster Contest:
The Children’s Department of the SW Branch Library has launched a spectacular original poster contest highlighting the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The contest dates are January 2-30, 2014. The posters must focus upon the life of Dr. King and will be divided according to age groups—primary-intermediate and upper. Note: Submitted work must be original and the actual work of the child as opposed to an adult.

Ringling Brothers at the Library!
The SW Branch Library announces its partnership with Ringling Brothers Circus in an effort to inspire increased reading activity. The library will host a special event Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 10:30 am which will distribute bookmarks and the opportunity for children to earn free tickets to Ringling Brothers Circus through a special reading program.
