The proposed transportation project on the Beltline includes 10.2 miles of new pedestrian-friendly transit that would start at MARTA stations in Midtown and Downtown and connect to the east and west sides of the Atlanta BeltLine. Roughly five miles of transit would be built on the Atlanta BeltLine’s east and west sides, with another five miles of cross-town connections across Midtown and Downtown.

Supporters say the project would connect 100,000 jobs to public transportation and help tens of thousands of Georgia Tech and Georgia State students attend school.
