Bernice King Invites Cascade to MLK Day Events and to the Inauguration Watch Party

The King Center has a week full of events leading up to Monday's national holiday.

Bernice A. King, the newly named CEO of The King Center, proudly invited all of our Cascade Patch readers to come join her on Martin Luther King Day and celebrate both her father's birthday and President Obama's 2nd-term inauguration.

The King Center has a number of events remaining this week leading up to the national holiday, including ticketed and free options for people of all ages:

State of Georgia Martin Luther King, Jr. Advisory Council Program
Georgia’s Governor will host a tribute to Dr. King, with participation of King Center officials.

Naturalization Ceremony – U.S. Immigration Services
The King Center, Freedom Hall Auditorium

Saturday, January 19, 2013, 2:30 p.m.
The DREAM 50 Art Contest Awards Ceremony
Morehouse College – Martin Luther King, Jr. International Chapel FREE and Open to the Public
Hosted by the Morehouse College, Martin Luther King, Jr. Collection and The King Center
