Cascade Rescue Pet of Week

Every pet—including those that have been rescued from different situations—should have a place to call home. Why not yours?

Meet Mudd a 65 pound, healthy brindle-colored Plott Hound with a playful and active personality who loves everybody with a settled temperment.

Mudd loves to play and is very alert. Any sign of trouble and she will bark.

The previous owner rescued Mudd from the Atlanta Humane Society and loved her dearly, but because she was going off to college, the owner could not take Mudd with her. Thankfully she left her in the care of a friend who has her own dog, a Pit Bull, to put her up for adoption.

Mudd is house trained and because the previous owner got her from the Atlanta Humane Society, she has been spayed and de-wormed. Also the owner, she took good care of Mudd by making sure she visited the Southwest Veterinary Clinic right here in Cascade Patch. The friend she left Mudd with works with veterinarians and loves dogs.

Because Mudd came from this type of environment, she is looking for a loving home. Mudd loves going for walks in dog parks and loves other dogs.
