Free West End Guided History and Culture Walking Tour on Saturday at 11am

The tour is May 18th @ 11am. It begins at the West End MARTA station north side and lasts roughly 3 hours.

West End Guided History and Culture Walking Tours

The West End is the oldest community in Atlanta and its first historic district.  It contains historic homes, churches, two museums and a performing arts center. It is also home to the first section of The Beltline with its nature, walking and bike trails, four parks, a working farm and several community gardens.

You are invited to experience the West End and its people with a local guide as you get some great exercise.

Sites include St. Anthony’s Catholic church, The Shrine of the Black Madonna Cultural Center and Bookstore, The Wren’s Nest, Patchwork City Farms and the Hammonds House Museum.

The tour last three hours is free and open to the public. There is a twenty person limit so please RSVP to robert.thompson168@gmail.com
