Greater Vine City Opportunities Program, Inc. (GVCOP) will host its Annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 1.
Greater Vine City Opportunities Program, Inc. (GVCOP) will host its Annual Community Appreciation Day on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at the home of State Representative “Able” Mable Thomas located at 765 Jones Avenue N.W. Atlanta, Georgia 30314. The event will start at 1 p.m.
Join fellow citizens, community leaders and representatives from the civic and business communities for a day of fellowship, information, delicious fish, and fun for the entire family.
Rep. Thomas and her staff will be on hand to address and discuss your state and community related concerns. In addition, this event will honor community and neighborhood leaders from across the city.

Your $10 donation will assist in supporting the youth program, and will cover your day of activity. The proceeds will also benefit the GVCOP’s “Raise the Roof” Revitalization campaign.
Rep. Thomas states, “I am honored to acknowledge community leaders and have the opportunity to inform the community of the upcoming stadium project initiatives.”

The mission of the Greater Vine City Opportunities Program, Inc. mission is to plan, promote, coordinate, create and execute programs in the greater Vine City area (English Avenue and Vine City) aimed at improving the living conditions of its residents. Its neighborhood driven methodology is a hands-on approach to problem solving, channeling resources, developing innovative methods and building strategic partnerships to establish social, technological, educational, economic development and youth programs. These programs include business development, job creation, after-school programs, counseling, special family events, celebrations of major holidays and other social events.
