MARTA Weekend Rail Service Delayed Due to Track Work Oct. 12th and 13th

In order to accommodate scheduled track work, MARTA will modify rail service on the Red and Gold Lines (North and South) on Saturday, Oct. 12th and Sunday, Oct. 13th, and customers traveling this weekend are advised to please allow extra time for their trip.

MARTA says, "We apologize for any inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience as we conduct this work to keep our system operating at its highest level."

Red Line and Gold Line trains will run on a 24-minute schedule. Service between Lindbergh Center and Airport Stations will be every 12 minutes. Both lines will run from North Springs and Doraville Stations south to the Airport until the end of service. 

(NOTE: SERVICE WILL BE DELAYED TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT)

On Saturday, Oct. 12th, at Medical Center Station, all trains will board on the southbound platform. On Sunday, Oct. 13th, at Medical Center Station, all trains will board on the northbound platform.

There will be no daytime single-tracking on the Blue and Green Lines.

MARTA is conducting regularly scheduled track work as part of work to rebuild and upgrade the rail system to enhance the overall safety and reliability of our rail services.
