New Water Mains Installed Starting Next Week
There will be two affected areas for work lasting about two weeks.
Starting Monday, Dec. 10, it may be a little harder to get around on certain streets.
On Deckner Avenue between Metropolitan Parkway and Sylvan as well as on Linwood Avenue between North Avenue and Williams Mill Road, new water mains are going to be installed under the streets. This will reduce usable traffic lanes to one. Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the construction areas and to use alternate routes whenever they can.
This work will happen from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Dec. 10 through 21.
