Photos: Hip Hop Star, T.I. Harris, Opens Foundation to Help Support Homeless Veterans in Atlanta

T.I. launched the Give Like a King Campaign today from the VEO on Westlake Ave. in support of Atlanta's homeless veterans.

Clifford "T.I." Harris, who is a native of Atlanta was in shadows of his old neighborhood Friday afternoon to proudly launch his new foundation and to announce his support for homeless veterans in Atlanta and the VEO, located on West Lake Ave.

"No veterans, anywhere should have to go without the basic necessities of shelter, food, toiletries.  They have already paid for that," T.I. told the crowd as he spoke on Friday.  T.I. went on to say that is is only because he has been blessed with more than most, that he feels he should give more than most and that is why he is helping to house homeless heroes.

The VEO or Veterans Empowerment Organization provides housing and food to just about 60 veterans that were at one time homeless.  The organization finds these vets under our bridges and on our city streets, and gives them the help and opportunity they need and deserve.
