Volunteers Needed to Read to Students at Bethune Elementary

Host families are needed for international exchange high school students, ages 15-18, studying here in Atlanta. You do not have to have other children in your home to qualify. Full details here

Georgia Public Broadcasting is recruiting volunteers for their Television and Radio Membership Campaigns taking place in March and April. Volunteers will serve as telephone operators to answer calls and take pledges from GPB viewers and listeners. GPB volunteers will receive a catered meal provided by Carole Parks Catering Company, free parking and training!  Full details here

Heritage Hospice, Inc. is in need of volunteers who are able to provide various tasks, comfort and emotional support to our patients & families. Many family
members are the 24/7 caregivers and need to take a short rest, run errands and attend to their own needs. Full details here

The Office of Mayor Kasim Reed has partnered with Everybody Wins! to launch the Power Lunch reading program at Bethune Elementary School. Volunteers are matched to a student for one-on-one weekly read aloud sessions that take place during the student’s school lunchtime for the school year.
